Guest performers at BellyBliss @ Madame Jo Jo's Belly dance showcase 30th May 2010:

Charlotte Desorgher.

Charlotte is the founder of Hipsinc and is one of the top bellydance teachers in the UK. Charlotte teaches and performs regularly at all the UK’s festivals and residential weekends and she is also well known for organising high profile events with some of the bellydance world’s most famous international stars. She recently co-organised International Bellydance Congress featuring the legendary Fifi Abdou and she has many fabulous dancers coming here this year including Aziza, Princess Farhana, Yasmina of Cairo and Nesrin Topkapi.

 

Varya:                                                                                                                                                          Is a seasoned bellydancer hailing originally from Russia. She started teaching one year ago since graduating from the Mia Serra Teacher Training program. She has since furthered her dance studies in London with Shafeek Ibrahim and Serena Ramzy and  also taken lessons in Egypt with school with the renowned Mona el Said who used to perform in London in the 80’s. Vara has taught over 100 students in the past year and loves teaching and encouraging them

 

 

 

 Alexis Southall:

Alexis was dragged kicking and screaming to her first bellydance class and loved it so much they couldn't get her out of the classroom! She was inspired to pursue Tribal Fusion dance after seeing Mardi Love perform with Bellydance Superstars in 2006. Alexis performs around the UK and this year also performed in Milan for Gothla IT.

 

 

Roxana:

Roxana is an elegant performer who loves to get audiences shimming to the beat! She is known for her fun, energetic and passionate style. Roxana is a regular performer at most of Belly dance events in the capital, and performs at high profile venues in the UK and abroad. She has performed at prestigious theatres:  Unesco, Egyptian Embassy, The Arabic Institute in Paris and London top restaurants.
