About Us
Mia Serra Belly Dance incorporates Mia Serra School of Belly Dance in central London, professional dance company BellyBliss Allstars, and monthly & termly events BellyBliss @ Madame Jo Jos and Sequins in the City.
Our aim is to provide a comprehensive package of training for all levels, from beginner to advanced students, plus a teacher training certification programme and a belly dance performance group. Our events provide an opportunity for students to perform on stage, or on the dancefloor, and to shine, regardless of age or body shape.

Our team of Mia Serra Belly Dance teachers aims to bring you the best in belly dance tuition. Our belly dance teachers have studied anatomy, Arabic music & rhythms, the history of belly dance and the principles of the Mia Serra Method ©. All have their own personal flair, style and experience of belly dance that adds magic to their classes.
We have trained many of London's teachers and performers.

Mia Serra
Mia is the director of the Mia Serra School of Belly Dance in central London and professional dance company, BellyBliss Allstars. In her nine years belly dancing at professional level she has been invited to perform around the globe, from the dunes of the Sahara to the Royal Festival Hall.
She is a certified pilates instructor and the originator of the Mia Serra Belly Dance Method ©. Mia is sought after as a master teacher and has taught & performed at the British Museum, The Vitality Show (see below), Fantasia, MAJMA & Raqs Britannia. She has trained some of London’s top belly dancers.


Mia has appeared on ITV, on BBC3 and has released 3 instructional belly dance DVDs. She has toured Europe and USA dancing on stage with Oojami, Zohar, Celloman, Oi Va Voi, Abdelkader Saadoun and legendary Algerian pianist Maurice el Medioni.
Venues she has danced at include the Royal Festival Hall, the British Museum, Asian Music Awards and many top clubs, hotels and restaurants including Maroush, Souk, Momo, Gilgamesh, 5 Cavendish Sq. and ChinaWhite.
Previous clients include: Morgan Stanley, Societe Generale, Paribas, Goldman Sachs, MTV, Lastminute.com, The London Magazine & Sega.
Mia currently teaches on the Belly Dance Instructor Training programme and is director of BellyBliss Allstars.
Helen Morgan

Beginning her dance career in ballet at the age of 3, Helen went on to fall in love with belly dance four years ago while living in New York. She studied with Reyna Alcala, a student of Jamila Salimpour, and performed locally with her troupe and as a solo dancer. Helen also studied tribal and Bollywood before returning to London in 2007 and joining the BellyBliss Allstars.
Helen teaches Level 2 and 3 on Mondays at LA Fitness Piccadilly. A keen Egyptologist and linguist, she has an in-depth knowledge of belly dance and her joy of belly dance pervades her teaching.
Vanessa Ralte
Vanessa has been involved with the performing arts since childhood and has studied everything from dance and drama to gymnastics and yoga until coming across our classes a few years ago and discovering her passion for belly dance. Having graduated from dedicated student to passionate performer and certified instructor, Vanessa loves to share her enthusiasm and love for the dance with others. She has performed at events such as LiveVibe at Sadlers Wells and for Persian pop stars Andy and Kouros at Shepherds Bush Empire.
Vanessa currently teaches Wednesday Level 1 and 2 and Saturday General classes, which offer a combination of serious technique drilling, inspiring choreographies and lots of fun.
