Add together Belly Dance and Bliss, mix in magical Morocco, and voila, you have the ingredients for the perfect holiday.

First, you are transported to a luxury villa nestled in La Palmeraie, an area secluded by 180,000 date palms, just 15 minutes from the centre of Marrakech. Set in botanical gardens dotted with swimming pools, tennis courts and Moroccan architecture, this is an exclusive boutique hotel recommended by Tatler and frequented by the jet-set.

While the setting works its magic, we begin our programme of de-stressing with a morning yoga and stretch session. The afternoon is yours to sunbathe, swim, enjoy spa treatments or even do some sight seeing in the Medina of Marrakech. Then, as the evening stars come out its time to re-energise with an upbeat, toning belly dance class, infused with core stability work. After a dinner featuring fresh vegetables from the villa’s gardens, there’s an optional Sufi meditation session to send you off into a deep sleep.

With the afternoon off on Wednesday, it’s your opportunity to take in the colours and scents of the Souk in Marrakech’s ancient medina – where you can browse an array of goods including leather shoes, jewellery, spices and belly dance accessories.

Then it’s back to our sophisticated sanctuary, to enjoy a candle lit dinner al fresco, amongst the scented flowers and a multitude of stars.

This holiday includes 6 nights luxury accommodation based on twin or triple share (single supplement on request). Price includes bed and breakfast and all yoga, belly dance and meditation tuition. Flights are not included. (Budget airlines Easyjet & Ryanair both fly to Marrakech from London).

Although aimed at women, boyfriends and partners, non-dancing friends and relatives are welcome to join the trip. (NB non-dancers may join the morning stretch-strength class).
